I want to tell you a story.

This is the story of a caterpillar. He grew up thinking he had one main goal in life. His main goal is eating. He’s constantly searching for more food. More, more, more. It’s an endless chase. That’s what his Dad did, that’s what people around him do, and he wants to fit in. That’s all he thinks he knows how to do. That’s what all caterpillars do. So he eats.

There’s a small piece of him that questions his life, and it won’t go away. Occasionally, he’ll get a glimpse of the rest of the world. He knows there’s more to his life than his constant search for food. But he doesn’t know what else is out there or how to find it, so he keeps himself busy to avoid feeling the emptiness of knowing something’s missing, without knowing how what it is or how to get it—this is his truth.

He’ll see a butterfly and wonder why he can’t fly like that. Something inside whispers ‘there must be another way’. A small spark ignites and he wants to fly. He may even decide to try to make some wings and glue them on. If he tries just a little harder, with these fake wings, maybe he’ll fly. But no matter how hard he flaps, he can’t get off the ground. It’s just too hard to change. Caterpillars can’t fly, he tells himself. So he goes back to his life of more, more, more. Try harder, try harder, try harder. Along with the everyone else.

How does doing more of the same thing — that doesn’t work — create transformation?

Does this sound familiar?

Are you always trying harder but not really seeing results? Are you constantly chasing after something that feels just out of reach? Do you think that if you could just do more, you’d have what you’ve always wanted?

It doesn’t always work that way.

The caterpillar has to undergo a metamorphosis in order to experience a better life. In order to fulfill his dream of flying. And so do you.

That’s the best way to describe the type of coaching I do. You know you want something different, but you can’t exactly name it. You feel like you are always chasing after success. And ‘success’ will make you happy.

You’ve bought every book on personal development you can find. You’re subscribed to every newsletter. You take every online course. But what you seek is still eluding you.

You can’t solve the frustrations you have with the same level of thinking that got you to where you are. You can’t see your own blind spots.

Just like the caterpillar, you need to change. Metamorphosis takes time. It can be uncomfortable. You need patience.

But it can be done. If you’re looking to transform your life, you’ve found the right place.

Let’s have a conversation about how coaching can work for you.
