Meta

Have you ever thought you couldn’t do something? Making whatever it was feel bigger than you?

Maybe it was lifting a heavier weight in the gym, or running further than you ever thought possible? Maybe you finally had that difficult conversation with someone that’s been bugging you for years?

Then - somehow, someway - you surprised yourself by doing it the very thing you thought you couldn’t do? Becoming bigger than it in the process. You know, going beyond your limits.

That’s what we help you do for your business, and your life. We help you learn how to take control of your business so you lead it, rather than it leading you.

The word ‘meta’ is Greek, and means ‘after’ or ‘beyond’.

We are meta. We help people grow beyond their limits.

Let's get started

In this video and post, I share the secret system I use to create an amazing week in my life and business. It’s simple, doesn’t take loads of time, AND helps me get crystal clear about my priorities for the coming week—making sure I save time, have success in business AND have fulfilment in my life.

I’ve shared this with clients all over the world to great success. Watch the video and give it a go … you’ll be amazed by the results.

Weekly review system

{Insert date of week starting}

What are the main priorities for me over the next seven days and where would I like to be by the end of the week?

{Insert a couple of paragraphs here about what comes to mind. Slow down before you start to write and think about what the most important things are that you should be allocating your time to over the next seven days}.

Business/Career

Review what you wrote in the opening paragraph and highlight 3-5 bullet points that are your main priorities to work on over next seven days for your business/career and allocate the amount of time you feel it will take in brackets next to each one (make sure you add more time than you think). For example:

  • Meet with general manager to finalise org chart—90 mins.

Personal

Review what you wrote in the opening paragraph and highlight 3-5 bullet points that are your main priorities to work on over next seven days for your personal life and allocate the amount of time you feel it will take in brackets next to each one (make sure you add more time than you think). For example:

  • Have three amazing gym sessions—180 mins.

Who did I need to ‘be’ in order to ‘do’ all the above?

{Insert a couple of paragraphs here about what comes to mind. Slow down before you start to write and think about what the most important behaviours, values, and attitudes you need to lead/come from over the next seven days}.

What actually happened?

You fill this in at the end of the week.

Business/Career

Copy and paste the 3-5 bullet points here that were your main priorities to work on over last seven days for your business/career. Then, add a progress comment next to each one, for example:

  • Meet with general manager to finalise org chart—Yes, completed, went well.

Personal

Copy and paste the 3-5 bullet points here that are your main priorities to work on over last seven days for your personal life. Then, add a progress comment next to each one, for example:

  • Have three amazing gym sessions—Done! Tiring but felt great after!

Highlights of the week?

Bullet point the highlights of your week that spring to mind. Magical moments in both your business/career and personal life that gave you energy. They can be of any size—sometimes magical moments can come from just one small conversation with someone that leads to a breakthrough—they don’t have to be huge.

How could I have made it better?

{Insert a couple of paragraphs here about what comes to mind. Slow down before you start to write and think about what you could have done differently over the last seven days in order to improve your results}.

Love. David.

Ps. I believe almost anyone can be a wealthy workaholic, but it takes a true leader to grow a successful business without sacrificing your most important relationships or health. I help people become that kind of business leader. If you’ve read this far I have a gift for you, sign up in the pop-up box to get my book called: How To Get Sh*t Done in a Busy World.
